2023 week long camp registration details- We hope that everyone has had a great time so far at Pogie’s Summer Camp! We are giving this year’s campers a head start by offering a (non-refundable) deposit that will guarantee you a spot for camp in Summer 2023. You will be able to choose the dates after March 01 2023, so that you are able to better plan your Summer schedules without having to try to reschedule camp once the season begins. The first to purchase camp spots will have the first choice for camp dates, and so on down the list. If you decide in March that none of the camps fit your schedule, your deposit can be used as in-store credit for any merchandise, tour, kid's event or rental; but, there will be no refunds. There will be three main week-long camps for the 2023 season: a 24 kid "crew"(5-13)camp, a 24 kid limited age range camp ( 3 first mate options, 3 mate options, one captains camp option) , and a 6 kid specialty camp. The 24 kid camp will be structured just like every year so far. The 6 kid camp will still be 5 days on the water, but will provide the kids with a once in a lifetime experience, with days spent just with Captain Ethan. The shelling day will be spent scavenging from Cape Lookout to Swansboro, the fishing day will cover everything from bottom fish, to red drum, and if the weather is right, nearshore. The beach day will include surf lessons and snorkeling back on the bay side, the tubing day will be tubing, knee boarding, and other behind the boat activities. The kayaking day will take the kids up the White Oak River to paddle down. After almost 4 years of camps, I have found the perfect staff leads to take over the other camps, so I, Ethan, can do the 6 kid camp every other week and make their week truly special and personalized like I want. Lunch will also be provided for the 6 group camp. The price tag of $1000 will be worth every penny, just the day of fishing alone would normal cost around that price.
